In the rules of design, to allow for eye-pleasing accessorizing, odd numbers are the most visually attractive. Rather than lining things up in a row, order then in the shape of a triangle and place an item at each point taking account of the scale as well.

Grouping decorations by color, texture, shape, gradation, or some other design element will make the arrangement automatically more inviting.

You can do this by using things around the house. Placing candles in a mason jar, stacking books, or even a pair of glasses can be placed in a trio and look professionally decorated.

Don’t let your space look odd, just use odd.
