Because I have the advantage of being a real estate broker and Stager, I have the ability to work with the furnishings my sellers already have.  Especially sellers that have great style and just need a bump here and there.
I currently have a listing owned, designed, and renovated by an architect and interior designer. My sellers are a creative couple with great style, 2 kids, 2 dogs, and a busy life.  It’s unreasonable for even a designer’s home to look show ready while living real life.  That’s where I come in.
As sellers and I were prepping for hitting the market, we walked each room of the house.  They asked me to be brutally honest on what to keep and what to get rid of.  Some furniture items were mismatched, too large for the space, or simply not necessary.  After weeding out what didn’t work, I brought in a few items that did.  Sprinkle in a little color and you have a whole new space.
The combination of what works from their style and a few inclusions from mine looked show ready with little effort.
